Chase Cooper
Director of Instruction
**Recently voted by Golf Digest as one of the best instructors in the state of Oklahoma!!**
Chase Cooper, a native of Guymon, Oklahoma, was introduced to golf at a young age by his father, who coached high school in Guymon for 30+ years. Chase had early success as a junior golfer and capped off his junior career by winning the 4A high school state championship at Trosper Park by 9 shots. Chase then went on to play college golf at the University of Nevada-Reno before turning professional and competing on various mini-tours for many years, the last 3 of those years residing in Edmond and playing out of Oak Tree National.
In 2015, Chase became the Director of Education at MySwing Golf, a leading 3D motion capture company in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, he conducted educational seminars worldwide, analyzed thousands of swings, and collaborated with many of the greatest minds in golf. Chase’s time at MySwing gave him a much deeper understanding of the golf swing and how best to utilize golf technology.
In 2017, Chase moved to Texas to assume the position of Director of Instruction at the Hal Sutton Golf Academy. There, he helped numerous students secure college scholarships and worked with players at all levels, including D-1 All-Americans and professionals on the Korn Ferry and PGA Tours. Chase has been fortunate to learn from and work with some of the game’s top players and coaches, including major champions and Hall of Fame instructors.
Chase’s commitment to family is as strong as his dedication to golf. He will be joined by his wife Alisa and their three kids, Crosby (8), Raya (6), and Beckham (5). Chase’s wife and high school sweetheart, Alisa, received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Langston University. Returning to Edmond, holds special significance for Chase and his family.
“Oklahoma has always been our home. Coming back to Edmond and being a part of the exciting developments at KickingBird is an amazing opportunity we couldn’t pass up. I remember many nights there as a junior golfer and even as a professional hitting range balls under the lights. What Brian Soerensen and the city of Edmond have done at KickingBird is incredible. The new facilities and updates to the golf course should make KickingBird Golf Club one of the top Public Golf Facilities in the country and it’s my goal to make KickingBird the top destination for golf instruction in Oklahoma.”

Will Paulsell
Lead Instructor and Director of Fitting
Born and raised in Borger, TX, Will grew up playing every sport he could before focusing on golf in high school. Will played college golf at Garden City Community College before transferring to Oral Roberts University to finish his college career. After college he turned pro and chased the mini tours for a few years. In January of 2019, Will teamed up with Chase Cooper at the Hal Sutton Golf Academy.
Will has spent over 15 years growing his knowledge and understanding of both the physical and mental aspects of the game. Will has a passion for teaching and developing players of all ages and skill levels.
“I can’t say enough good things about Will. He’s an incredible golf instructor, club fitter, player and more importantly, he’s an even better person. He is my go-to source for all things club fitting, and he’s had a ton of success helping players of all skill levels reach their goals. I’m so excited and grateful to have him on the team.”

Dallas Wiginton grew up in Altus, Oklahoma. He started playing golf seriously around 12 years old with his older brother, Chad. He was a varsity golfer for Altus all three years of high school and earned a scholarship to play golf at Western Oklahoma State College. Dallas received training in the golf management program at UCO before earning his MBA.
“Coach Dallas joins Will and I after coaching high school golf for the past two years while also successfully expanding his golf instruction business. The following he has built in such a short time is a testament to what a great instructor and person he is. We are incredibly honored and excited to have ‘Coach Wig’ on the team!”
