E.C. Hafer Junior Program
THE RELEASE FORM MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOUR CHILD CAN ATTEND ANY CAMP.
If your child is attending multiple camps, only one release form is required.

Welcome to the 2026 E.C. Hafer Jr. Golf Program at KickingBird Golf. The E.C. Hafer Jr. Golf Program was founded in 1971 by the late E.C. Hafer, a longtime Edmond youth athletics advocate.
Program Details
Total Cost for ONE CAMP, Drive/Chip/Putt Contest, and Junior Tournament: $250.

This program is designed for golfers ages 6–15. Golfers will participate in a 3-Day Camp that meets for two hours each day from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
Instruction will cover the basic fundamentals of golf including grip, posture, alignment, and swing. A special emphasis will be placed on golf course etiquette, safety, and enjoyment of the game.
On Monday and Tuesday, junior golfers will be instructed on irons, woods, chipping, and putting. On Wednesday, students will be taken onto the golf course to learn etiquette, course management, and safety.
There will also be a Drive, Chip, and Putt contest on Thursday, July 23rd from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
The following week, Wednesday, July 29th, we will host the E.C. Hafer Jr. Golf Tournament. Lunch will be served following the tournament, and trophies will be awarded for different age groups.
Two of the most important awards presented are the Robin Orendorff Most Improved Award and the E.C. Hafer Sportsmanship Award.
Your child must be 6 years old by the first day of the camp they attend.
We had several 5-year-olds participate last year. Due to safety and overall camp quality, no 5-year-olds will be permitted this year. If a child does not meet the age requirement, a refund will be issued.

June 15th – 17th
June 29th – July 1st
July 13th – 15th
July 20th – 22nd
Drive, Chip and Putt contest on July 23rd and the E.C. Hafer Junior Tournament on July 29th are included for all attendees.
